Gearboxes for test bench!

For today’s post we are proud to share a picture of a gearbox that is currently working in a 4 square driveshafts test rig. These machines needed to be working on a moving base plate, which made it even more challenging!

Gearboxes for test bench are always very exciting projects in which, in order to be successful a very close contact between Guibe’s engineering department and the test bench developer is required. In addition, gearboxes for this sector require technical characteristics that we don’t see every day, such as very high speeds, integration of other elements inside the gearbox, very specific dimensional restrictions…
